Ali Otto '27 is from Waynesboro, Virginia. Following environmental science experiences at a Virginia Governor's School, Ali realized that conservation was her calling, and she wanted to devote her life to mitigating climate change and protecting endangered species across the globe.
At W&M, Ali intends to add a minor in Marine Science with a focus on Integrative Conservation and Sustainability. Ali is a member of the Marine Science Society and is eager to explore other conservation-based extracurriculars.
She hopes to pursue a career in marine biology and conservation and advocate for the prioritization of ocean health.
