Exploring Business Models to Support Women's Livelihood and Conservation Initiatives in the Amboseli EcosystemBiography
Since the first grade, Sydney Hintz '26 has known that she has wanted to be an environmentalist. From giving presentations to her classmates on Rachel Carson in elementary school in Ho-Ho-Kus, New Jersey to doing research on larval fish at W&M Virginia Institute of Marine Science, she has always loved exploring various ways to help the environment.
Sydney has experience with entrepreneurship in conservation, environmental legislation and advocacy, marine biology, and gender equity in the conservation sector through various internships and research at W&M.
Her sense of purpose lies within her love of nature and passion for conservation, and she dreams of being able to make the world a better place. She hopes to one day work as an environmental policy analyst.
