Integrative Conservation major Lindsay Fisher highlights her summer working on the Dragon Run
Integrative Conservation major, Lindsay Fisher, completed a summer conservation internship on the Dragon Run river with IIC conservation partner Friends of Dragon Run (FODR).
FODR has been a valuable partner of the IIC for several years, sharing their conservation stories and naturalist knowledge while guiding IIC faculty, staff, students, and two full Conservation Catalyst cohorts on paddles on the remote Dragon Run, a biodiversity-rich stretch of river that is protected through land acquisition and dedicated stewardship.
Lindsay's internship expands FODR's conservation partnership with W&M and the IIC, and advances FODR's work in conservation and conservation advocacy.
