Ananya Mangal '26 (she/her)

Biography

Ananya Mangal is a painter from Boston. She is passionate about international health equity transcending borders and national interests. As a conservationist, she seeks to find sustainable ways to finance and amass resources for medical use without overharvesting. She is particularly interested in the health consequences of the unequal distribution of environmental services. She looks to policy and financial motivations driving conservation successes and issues.

As a member of the IIC Student Leadership Council, she advocates for sustainable financing and policy reform to champion conservation initiatives. After graduation, Ananya sees herself advocating for access to healthcare in war-torn areas and preventative medicine across the world.

She fervently recommends J.D. Salinger’s novel, Franny and Zooey to all.
