Types of Changes
William & Mary Institutional Change (IC) Process
If a change you are envisioning is not listed, consult with the Assistant Provost for Institutional Accreditation & Effectiveness.
All internal and BOV actions must be completed prior to SCHEV and SACSCOC submissions.
Advertising of a program/change may begin after proposal submission to SCHEV/SACSCOC but prior to their approval (if required), but such advertising must include a disclaimer that the program is pending SCHEV/SACSCOC approval.
*Organizational Changes follow the same submission timeline as Program Modifications & Technical Changes but typically require a longer approval timeline, often 90-120 days after submission.
