GRI is a cutting-edge applied research hub that multigenerational teams of students, faculty, and professional researchers to tackle the world's most pressing issues. We have impact on policy and professional careers - cultivating world-leading research and future world leaders.
Each year, we support more than 50 student-faculty research teams. We give over 200 students hands-on research experience as paid staff members and facilitate around 1500 touchpoints with students across campus, fostering community, building career-readiness, and knowledge-exchange.
And we make an impact, delivering more than 100 briefings to policy makers annually, and thousands of media hits for our research findings. What happens here has ripple effects that propagate from Williamsburg to the world, and we are excited to make our mark on the future.
