Karen Baker

Major, US Army

Bio

Major Karen A. Baker is a U.S. Army officer working with the Inspector General Agency at the Pentagon. She is an active contributor to the Journal of Leadership Education, and participating member of the Academy of Management, and the Association of Leadership Educators. Her research focuses on organizational structure, efficiencies, and management in both private and public sectors.  

Karen holds a doctorate from University of Phoenix in Organizational Leadership. Her published dissertation focuses on leadership training and soldiers with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. She has earned a master’s degree from St. Mary’s University in International Relations and National Security Policy and has graduated from the School of Advanced Military Studies at Fort Leavenworth. Her undergraduate work earned her a degree in Psychology and Neuroscience from King’s College in Pennsylvania.
