Biography
Professor Fardoust supervises students' research projects and independent studies in various fields of international economic development, currently focusing on: the impact of digital technologies on economic growth, job creation, and inequality; and macroeconomic and financial implications of climate change for developing countries.
Professor Fardoust is also a Non-Resident Scholar at the Middle East Institute, and a member of the Millennium Challenge Corporation’s Economic Advisory Council, Washington, DC. His previous positions included the Director of Strategy and Operations, Development Economics at the World Bank. He obtained his MA and a PhD in economics from the University of Pennsylvania.
