John Arnold '22John Arnold is a sophomore at W&M and he plans to major in government and minor in economics. John is from Alexandria, Virginia. He is interested in foreign policy and international economics and trade. On campus, he is a member of the club tennis team. And he is an avid sports fan, especially teams from Washington DC and Cleveland. He hopes the DC Winter Seminar is fun and thought-provoking and he can't wait! |

Paige Groome '22Paige Groome is a sophomore from Peachtree City, GA who plans to major in Public Policy and minor in Business Marketing. She is fascinated with intelligence community work and is excited to learn more about the United State's national intelligence agencies. Her interests on campus vary from writing and performing sketches with W&M's 7th Grade Sketch Comedy group, serving on the Undergraduate Honor Council, and being a member of Kappa Delta sorority. She is also training as a Research Assistant for W&M's AidData Internship through the Global Research Institute. In her free time one can find Paige rock climbing, flying around campus on her bike, enjoying Swemroma's turkey focaccia sandwich, and adding to her many, many Spotify playlists. |

Caroline Larson '20Caroline is currently a senior W&M pursuing a major in Public Policy and a minor in Hispanic Studies. She spent the fall of 2018 studying abroad in Buenos Aires, Argentina and traveling around South America. She previously interned for the National Endowment for Democracy as their Reagan-Fascell Democracy Fellows Program Intern and also pursued independent research on the intersection of sexual violence and democracy while there. On campus, she volunteers for the Haven, an organization that works towards healing, empowering, and supporting students who have experienced sexual assault or harassment, relationship violence, or gender-based discrimination. She is very excited to learn more about international relations in the D.C. sphere! |

L'Allegro Smith '20L'Allegro Smith is currently a senior at W&M from Hampton, Virginia, majoring in American Studies. L'Allegro served as a Legislative Assistant to a senior member of the United States House of Representatives for several years working in both the Washington, DC and district offices. Following graduation, L'Allegro hopes to work with an international non-governmental organization (NGO) specializing in either international security or human rights policy in the Washington, DC area and prepare for graduate school abroad. On campus, L'Allegrois a member of Merrimac Mentors and Canterbury. |

Selene Swanson '21Selene Swanson is a sophomore at William & Mary majoring in Government. She is originally from McLean, Virginia, just miles away from the Washington Center! On campus, Selene is involved in the Conduct and Honor Advisor Program, Intergenerational Insights, and Young Democrats. This past summer, she served as a Doorkeeper in the U.S. Senate. Selene is excited to continue her exploration of D.C. with William & Mary this winter! |
