*Recurring Event Discounts: 10% off total for five or more recurring same-event rentals reserved at the same time, 20% off for 10 or more.

BOOKING POLICIES

By booking your event in the W&M Washington Center, you agree to adhere to all policies as listed below.

  • All guest/attendee first and last names must be provided to the Washington Center Events Team (dcevents@wm.edu) no less than five (5) business days in advance of your event.
  • If at any point there is an event that involves external parties, those names must also be provided to the Washington Center Events Team (dcevents@wm.edu) no less than five (5) business days in advance.
  • If your event involves catering and/or alcohol, please provide that specific information to the Washington Center Events Team (dcevents@wm.edu) no less than five (5) business days in advance.
  • Under no circumstance are you allowed to sublet or offer to sublet the space.
  • Kitchen use is permitted only for water bottle-filling purposes. Do not help yourself to any food/beverage or supplies in the Center space.
  • You must agree to pay for any damages and charges that occur when you use the space.
  • No access/loitering is allowed in the lobby on the ground floor, or any other floor. The rooftop and other levels in the building are off-limits.
  • We reserve the right to cancel or terminate the agreement for ongoing events at any point if we deem it appropriate that the partner is not in compliance with any of the above terms.
  • The rate encompasses the services being provided to you and the time that you use those services, not for the space or reservation of space.
  • Full payment is due 10 business days after the event through our online system

Cancellation Policy

Reservations can be canceled up to thirty (30) business days before the event without penalty. 25% percent of the fee will be charged for cancellations between 21-30 business days before the event, 50% for cancellations 15-20 business days, 75% for cancellations between 5-14 business days, and 100% for cancellations within five business days or less of the event.

All cancellations must be made in writing by emailing dcevents@wm.edu.
