The Haven Emergency Funding
Support for unexpected hardships.
The Haven Emergency Fund provides limited financial assistance to William & Mary students as a result of experiencing sexual violence, intimate partner violence, stalking or other gender-based discrimination/harassment. This fund is for survivors who may have costs related to unanticipated medical expenses, medications, treatments, transportation, and/or safety related needs.
To apply for limited financial assistance, please submit the form below. Information shared in the form will remain confidential. Decisions on funding are made by The Haven Advisory Board who are a small group of staff and students who work in The Haven as Confidential Advocates. Each application will be reviewed without the survivor's name so that identities are protected and the process is objective. The Haven's professional staff will only have access to the applicant’s name. Please allow a minimum of one week to review your application. You will be contacted via email on the status of your application.
