- Interviews for selected applicants will begin the week of April 1, 2024
Selected applicants must attend mandatory training in the Fall of 2024. Missing the mandatory training will automatically terminate your position as Confidential Advocate. Mandatory training will be held the first weekend (Aug. 31-Sept. 1) after classes start from 9:00am to 5:00pm, Saturday and Sunday. If you participate (or plan to participate) in fraternity/sorority life, you will need to ask for permission, well in advance, to be excused from weekend activities that may conflict with our mandatory training.
For those applicants accepted, The Haven will hold a welcome event on April 28th, prior to the end of the semester.

**Please note: Students who are Resident Assistants (RAs) at W&M may not volunteer as a Confidential Peer Advocate due to a conflict of interest. All volunteers must be in good standing at W&M in regards to conduct and honor policies.
