Originally from the Nashville, Tennessee area, Marc calls Williamsburg home after earning his J.D. at William & Mary Law School in 2023. A Vol for life, Marc previously earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in social work at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, where he also served in various roles in university housing and student life. During law school, Marc served as a law clerk for a state agency and was a staff member on the Journal of Race, Gender, and Social Justice. Marc was a graduate assistant in SARP for two years before joining the office full time. In addition to finding new hiking trails, Marc enjoys sharing his interests in TV shows and podcasts, so bring a list of your favorites!
In this role, Marc’s focus is on helping students and groups through challenging circumstances and building safe, healthy communities for students to learn and flourish. Marc’s practice emphasizes the dignity and worth of every student, and empowers students using a strengths-based perspective. Marc’s practice interests are in restorative justice, hazing prevention, and community development.
