About Latisha
In May 2022, Latisha was promoted to Compliance & Title IX Investigator in the Office of Compliance & Equity. Latisha Brown joined William & Mary in September 2018 working in the Office of Compliance & Equity and University Counsel. During this time, she took on the additional role as Statement of Economics Interest Coordinator and provided support for Freedom of Information Act requests. Prior to joining W&M, she served six years in the United States Army as a medic. She is experienced in dealing with sensitive material, fostering diverse and inclusive work environment, and engaging in a trauma informed care. She earned a B.A. in Accounting from Strayer University.
Latisha is Certified Civil Rights Investigator. She conducts fair, equitable and efficient investigations relating to sexual violence and sex-based discrimination. She participates in continuing education and training programs conducted by the Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services (DCJS), Association of Title IX Administrators (ATIXA), and other trainings in Title IX matters and internal investigations.
