Student Tribe Card
Welcome to William & Mary! Your Tribe Card is the official form of identification for students, faculty and staff and an essential part of your life here on campus. A Tribe Card is your (literal) key to campus and is uniquely tied to you for your use. From door access to meal plans or attendance verification, your Tribe Card will open doors for you at William & Mary.
Tribe Cards are processed at the beginning of your first year on campus and are typically produced for new students enrolled full-time in a degree-seeking program during your Orientation Program. Online Students may be issued a card in person when visiting campus.
Before cards can be produced however, two crucial elements are required to help identify you as a William & Mary student. Both steps require an active W&M username.

If a name is printed incorrectly on a card, replacement cards can be purchased for $23. All purchases are non-refundable.
Photo Submission and ID Verification
Visit tribecard.wm.edu and select “Student & Staff Login” from the left menu. Once logged in, select “Upload Your Photo” and follow the prompts to upload an original photo (.jpg) of your government ID as well as your new photo. To expedite the review process, please ensure you crop your photo from the top of your head to your collarbone using the provided system tools.
You will receive an email confirmation to your W&M email address confirming your photo has been submitted successfully and is pending review. All uploaded information must be verified by Tribe Card Services which could take up to three business days to process. You will receive an email notification to your W&M account if your photos have been accepted or rejected.
