Winter Break Parking Advisory 2016

Full Description

Hours of operation: Parking Services closes Thursday Dec 22nd at 4:30 pm and reopens Tuesday Jan 3rd at 7:45 am. However, we will continue to close at 4:30 pm daily through Friday Jan 13th. We are closed Monday Jan 16th, and resume normal hours of operation on Tuesday Jan 17th.

The Kaplan Arena lot (formerly W&M Hall lot) is designated as the vehicle storage site for the break, students needing to leave their vehicle on campus should stop by Parking Services, advise us of their departure and return dates, and obtain a Winter Storage Pass to display on the dashboard. Grad Plex and Law School students may leave their vehicles in the student section of lot 2 or in the larger overflow lot at the end of the complex.

To accommodate several W&M Basketball games the Compton Lot, Yates lot, and all of Brooks St must be cleared for the break. All vehicles must be removed from these areas by 5 pm Thursday Dec 22nd.

The Parking Deck on Ukrop Way will be closed for the LED light retrofit project. Beginning Thursday Dec 15th at 5:00 pm all vehicles should be removed from the deck. State vehicles to include departmental golf carts may park in the sub level through Jan 3rd. Then they must be relocated elsewhere. The Deck reopens for general use Saturday Jan 14th, 2017.

The Red Garage at OTP will be closed for the same period the Residence Halls are closed from 10:00 am Thursday Dec 15th to 8:00 am Friday Jan 13th. Vehicles left behind will not be accessible during the break.
