VIMS Pool Vehicle and Fueling Station Relocation - Thursday 11/3/16

Full Description
Preparations for construction of the new Facilities Management building are continuing. As part of this project POOL VEHICLES will be relocated. Relocation is currently scheduled for Thursday 11/3/16 during the day. The new locations will remain in effect for the duration of the FM construction.
POOL CARS & VANS (map) will be moved to the Customer Service area and should be picked up / dropped off at that location. Future adjustment to pool parking spaces are expected as we continue and refine the process.
POOL TRUCKS parked after hours will be relocated to the Boat Basin the following morning.(see attached PDF document). All vehicles associated with pool truck parking are to remain within the area shown.
Vehicles returned after hours (boat basin gates closed) should be returned to the Andrews Hall loading dock area. A KEY DROP BOX will be located at the entrance to the Customer Service Center for after hour returns. The current key drop box at Clayton House will be removed.
The fuel station will also be relocated to the boat basin (location shown on attachment) and is expected to be out of service for 1 day (Thursday), but may be down for a 2nd day (Friday) in the event of unforeseen difficulties during the transition. Fuel cards are available if necessary, but should be requested in advance to allow time for processing. General Reminder – Pools Vehicles to be refueled after use.
