Loss of Adair Gravel Parking Lot
Full Description
Effective Thursday Dec 21st the resident parking spaces at the Adair Gymnasium gravel lot will no longer be available for use. This is a permanent loss to the parking system to allow for the construction of the West Utility Plant.
Once the project fence is installed (Jan 13) access to the rear of Adair Hall and the Parking Deck will require key and escort since it will be considered an active construction site through project completion.
Pedestrian traffic flow should use the opposing sidewalks, crossing at Dupont & Randolph complex, and again on the Swem Side of the Landrum Dr & Ukrop Way intersection. See below diagram for layout. Please do not skirt the project fenceline, vehicular and cyclist traffic is heavy in this area, pedestrians are asked to maximize use of open sidewalks.
