Construction UPDATE: Temp Road Closure
Effective Monday May 22nd through Friday June 16th, 2023 the portion of Brooks St from the rear of Kaplan Arena by the loading dock to the intersection of Brooks St & Compton Ave will be closed to all traffic for underground utility work associated with the project. All traffic must access the Arena from Brooks St & Ukrop Way.
On Aug 31st, 100 spaces along Brooks St and in the Compton Lot will be removed from service to make way for the construction of the new Athletics Practice Facility. The construction fencing for the Kaplan Arena project will begin tomorrow morning. The area to be captured in the fencing shown below (plus the first bay of the loading dock, not shown):
