Display of Permits
You have a permit; make sure it’s displayed correctly! Vehicle registration is not complete until the permit is properly displayed. Decals and hangtags displayed improperly may result in a citation for Improper Display. Hangtags must be displayed from the rearview mirror so that the side with the hologram and number and year are facing out. Adhesive decals must be affixed on the rear windshield, driver's side, lower corner or driver's side on the bumper. Motorcycle decals must be securely affixed. Taping a decal to the inside of the windshield is not permissible.
Temporary passes are available for specific periods of use. Passes must be displayed on the driver's side dashboard so that the effective dates and authorized location are visible, if issued in hangtag form, then it must be displayed from the rear view mirror with pertinent information facing outward.
