Final Site Work At Muscarelle Renovation Project & Adjustment To Pedestrian Pathways Around PBK

Summary

Begins Monday Oct 21st, 2024 and is expected to last approximately 4 weeks.

Full Description

As we reach the end of the Muscarelle Museum renovation project it will be necessary to adjust parking in the Boswell and PBK lots. The work is scheduled to begin Monday Oct 21st and is expected to last approximately four (4) weeks.  Contractors will be moving portions of the existing project fenceline to allow for the restoration of the sidewalks and front approach to the building as well as general circulation around the area. The firelane between the museum and PBK will be closed and the current ADA pathways will be adjusted. Barriers will be placed to provide a protected walkway East to West across the front of the site. To facilitate accessibility ramps will be placed in key spots to facilitate access for those with limited mobility.   Pedestrians are reminded to stay within the barricaded areas and refrain from walking in the main drive aisles. Pedestrian and ADA signage will be in place along the front walkway to denote the detour around the area. Please exercise caution when driving and walking within the back half of the PBK Circle lot and Boswell lot closest to the project site. A portion of the work will require partial closure of 18 spaces in the PBK circle.  See the below visual depiction of the area for further details.  Muscarelle Site Updated Pathways
