Interested in the possibility of holding your wedding at William and Mary? Submit a wedding interest form to find out about availability. Conference and Event Services books a variety of wedding venues around campus. If you already have an event planner, we are excited to work with them. If you need a wedding planner, we can offer this service.
The Wren Chapel is a beloved ceremony site that can be reserved through Conference Services for students, alumni, current employees, or the children of anyone in such a group. Weddings can be booked any day of the week for two-hour blocks at 11:30 a.m., 2:00 p.m., 4:30 p.m., and 7:00 p.m. The maximum capacity for a ceremony is 120 people.
We have several beautiful locations available for receptions. The W&M School of Business has a gorgeous ballroom for seated receptions of 200 as well as a Courtyard for outdoor events.
Another wonderful indoor space for receptions of up to 200 is in the W&M School of Education. There's also a spacious Courtyard just outside the room for outdoor ceremonies.
The Martha Wren Briggs Ampitheatre at Lake Matoaka features the shimmering lake as a backdrop for the festivities. The Sunken Gardens are a memorable location for outdoor receptions.
