Policies
Parking Regulations
All campus visitors must display a guest parking permit authorized by Parking Services. Please obtain a pass through your coordinator prior to arrival on campus.
Note: Conference Services cannot pay or waive parking tickets for groups or guests.
- Handicap parking is available, but guests with a handicap hang-tag or license plate must still display a temporary guest parking permit.
- Failure follow the parking permit requirements will result in ticketing or towing.
-
Riding, driving or parking any vehicle on the sidewalks or grounds of the College is prohibited. Campus police will enforce moving violations, which will be returnable in the respective District Courts. In all cases, the directions of a police officer supersede the regulations posted by sign or signal.
-
Campus Police and Parking Services are authorized to remove, at the owner’s expense, any vehicle which is in violation of these regulations. This includes towing and/or wheel locking. Acceptance of permit attests that a person understands the traffic and parking regulations and accepts responsibility to adhere to them.
Parking questions should be directed to Parking Services at (757) 221-4764 while event questions should be directed to Conference Services at (757) 221-4084.
Special Use Policies
Please note that, while there is a venue for just about everything you can imagine located at William & Mary, some venues have strict guidelines and policies for special use. The Conference & Event Services Office will advise you of these policies if necessary based on your group’s conference and event arrangements.
Other University Policies
Lost & Found
Conference & Event Services manages lost & found for campus during the summer months. If you are a student, faculty, or staff during the academic year, contact the Sadler Center Info Desk at 757-221-1351.
Lost & found items are kept for seven days. After this time, items will be discarded or donated.
Please note: the College is not responsible for lost or stolen belongings. Guests are encouraged to leave valuable personal items at home. Youth guests are encouraged to deposit their cash in the "camp bank," if available.
Lost Keys
For security purposes, report all lost keys and cards to Conference Services. Any key or card not returned at check-out will be assumed lost and charges will be posted immediately to the Client’s bill.
Residence halls must be secured at all times with access gained by card only. Doors to buildings should not be propped open. W&M strongly encourages guests to keep room doors locked at all times.
Maintenance
Please contact your camp counselor or Conference Services Office at (757) 221-4084 to report any maintenance concerns.
