Law Library The project involved the complete renovation of the existing library and the building of an addition to create a technologically advanced library nearly two-thirds larger.

Built in 1980, the Law Library's 350,000 volume collection, comfortable building, and a service-oriented staff offers students and other users an excellent setting for study and research. The project provides an expansion and renovation of the library facility to accommodate growth in collections, media and programs.

  • Progress:The new addition was occupied during the summer of 2006, and library operations transferred from the old facility. Shelving is complete on the second floor of the renovated space and is being installed on the first floor. Finishes, in turn, are being simultaneously closed out on the first floor and are in progress in the basement. Furniture procurement is sequenced with construction to permit a May 2007 completion of the renovated space.
