Chief Justice Earl Warren made his first public remarks following the Brown v. Board decision at the College of William & Mary. He spoke at the Marshall-Wythe Blackstone Ceremonies commemorating the celebration of the beginning of the John Marshall Bicentennial Year held on the William & Mary campus September 25, 1954. The event received some regional and local press coverage.
