Chick-fil-A coming to Tribe Square
The William & Mary Real Estate Foundation has announced that a Chick-fil-A will open in Tribe Square for the fall 2018 semester.
“Students have been asking for Chick-fil-A for some time, and I hope this shows we have been listening. As soon as we heard there was an opportunity at Tribe Square, we began working to make this a reality.” said Nancy Buchanan, the executive director of the Real Estate Foundation.
In addition to the signature sandwich, Chick-fil-A offers a variety of menu options including breakfast items, salads, Waffle Potato Fries, fruit cups, lemonade and treats.
The restaurant will be located in Tribe Square, Suite 101 and open Monday through Saturday. The location will accept meal plan Dining Dollars, W&M Express, as well as cash and credit and will be open to the public in addition to the campus community.
“We are excited to join the William & Mary campus and look forward to serving students, staff and faculty great tasting food and remarkable service,” said Matt Sullivan, Chick-fil-A New Restaurant Growth.
Chick-Fil-A joins the local and signature retail brands currently available to students through their meal plans including Element Café and Boehly Café — brewing Starbucks coffee, Cosi and Qdoba (Sadler Center), Williamsburg-favorite Aromas (Swem Library) and the Tribe Truck, offering a rotating menu of culinary trends. These are in addition to Center Court at Sadler Center and Commons, the two residential all-you-care-to-eat locations, Marketplace, a retail/residential hybrid, two convenience store concepts, Zime and Monticello, located at the W&M Law School and School of Education respectively and Dominos Pizza delivery.
Jason Aupied, resident district manager for W&M Dining added, “We are excited to have Chick-fil-A join the William & Mary dining portfolio. The addition of a premium brand like Chick-fil-A will add value for our students by expanding their choice of dining options.”
