Deborah Hewitt to be featured on With Good Reason
William & Mary's own Deborah Hewitt will be heard this week on the radio program With Good Reason. Hewitt is assistant dean for MBA programs and clinical associate professor at the Mason School of Business .The broadcast will begin airing July 27 and be rebroadcast through Aug. 2 on NPR stations. During the program, Hewitt discusses economic changes taking place now in China, how those changes are already affecting American businesses and households and why it’s important for everyone in America to understand what’s happening economically in China.
Earlier this month Hewitt was featured on Bloomberg TV and FOX Business News discussing the Virginia Retirement System with Bloomberg, and the impact of the Chinese buyout of American company Smithfield Foods and the role of emerging markets and China in global finance with FOX.
Hewitt specializes in international economics, financial management and market sector and company valuation. She has published numerous articles on the subjects of international trade and finance including articles for Standard & Poor's Credit Week and Bottom Line, as well as The Wall Street Journal and Barron's.
