Barbara King featured on With Good Reason
Chancellor Professor of Anthropology Barbara King will be a featured guest this week on the public radio program “With Good Reason” Oct. 12 - 18. Broadcast times and stations for the program may be found online.
King, author of How Animals Grieve, challenges the notion that grief is an emotion experienced only by humans. She will discuss her research that shows there is ample evidence of many species experiencing loss, love, and mourning as well as how that animal grief is distinct from human grief.
