Alumni Association launches iPad Newsstand app for magazine
The William & Mary Alumni Association has launched a native iOS Newsstand iPad version of its quarterly William & Mary Alumni Magazine.
The magazine iPad app offers alumni, students and their parents, faculty, staff, and friends of the university another way to access the award-winning content and design created by the Alumni Association. While the print and Web versions of the magazine will continue, iPad app users will be able to sign up for automatic downloads of the magazine. In addition, once downloaded all content will be available regardless of the availability of an Internet connection.
This initial release is the first step in a broader initiative toward extending the Alumni Association’s digital platform. Future updates to the app will increase the features and functionality of the iPad magazine.
The app can be downloaded on iPads here or by searching for "W&M Alumni Magazine" in the iTunes store.
