Greenberry's Coffee Co. to open in Swem Library
Greenberry’s Coffee Co. will open its first Williamsburg, Va., location mid-September in the Swem Library.
The Charlottesville-based company was chosen as the new vendor based on their serious commitment to high‐quality sustainable products.
“This is an exciting addition to campus. After listening to what the students wanted from a coffeehouse, we feel Greenberry’s will be able to deliver a high quality menu using locally-sourced, sustainable ingredients,” said Matt Moss, director of dining.
The café will feature artisan-roasted coffee, premium teas from around the world and fresh smoothies, as well as bread and pastries baked daily by William & Mary’s own pastry chef, Dominique Lewis.
Additional menu items will include gourmet soups, salads and sandwiches created to reflect the warm and inviting atmosphere.
Greenberry’s President Sean Simmons added, “The College of William & Mary is a fantastic opportunity for us to showcase what we do best: quality coffee, inviting atmosphere, and a commitment to local flavor. We look forward to becoming a part of the Tribe tradition, whether it is before an 8 a.m. class or during an 11 p.m. study break.”
Greenberry’s will accept W&M Express, Dining Dollars, cash and all major credit cards.
