General public tickets for Dalai Lama visit to go on sale Wednesday
General public tickets for the Dalai Lama event on Oct. 10, 2012 are sold out. Individuals with tickets should check Dalai Lama website regularly for additional information regarding the event. - Ed
Tickets for the Dalai Lama visit at William & Mary will go on sale to the general public on Wednesday, Sept. 19. Approximately 3,000 tickets will be available to the general public.
Ticket prices are based on the proximity to the stage and are as follows:
- $25 lower level general admission
- $15 upper level general admission
Due to limited seating, no more than two tickets can be purchased at one time. Tickets will be available on a first-come, first-served basis and may be purchased beginning at 8 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 19 at TicketReturn.com. Tickets ordered online will not be mailed. Individuals purchasing tickets are encouraged to use the "print at home" option to avoid delays at Will Call at William & Mary Hall on the day of the event.

His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama will deliver a lecture at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 10 in Kaplan Arena at William & Mary Hall. The event is being sponsored by the William & Mary Student Assembly, Alma Mater Productions (AMP) - the student programming committee - along with the International Relations Club. Additional support is made possible through the Janet and Peter Atwater Lecture Endowment.

His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama does not charge a speaking engagement fee, and no aspect of His Holiness' visit is being used to profit financially.
