Tribe football moves up in national polls
In addition to extending its winning streak to four games, W&M's triumph at Towson was the team¹s sixth win in the last seven games. With a 6-2 record overall and a 4-1 mark in conference play, the College has clinched winning records overall and in league action. The Tribe¹s lone FCS loss this season was against Villanova, which is currently ranked among the top 10 in both national polls.
The Tribe boasts one of the country¹s most productive offenses and currently ranks 11th nationally in total offense (427.00 ypg) and 15th in scoring offense (34.88 ppg). Defensively, W&M also ranks among the nation¹s best and is 22nd in total defense (307.75 ypg) and 20th in pass efficiency defense (110.22).
W&M will look to extend its winning streak to five games when it hosts Northeastern this Saturday at 7 p.m. at Zable Stadium.
