W&M Board of Visitors to hold retreat July 9-10
The Board of Visitors of William & Mary will hold a retreat at George Washington’s Mount Vernon on July 9-10, 2015. The purpose of the meeting is to serve as the annual planning retreat for members of the Board.
On Thursday July 9, the Board will begin the retreat at 11:30 a.m. with a meeting and lunch in Rubenstein Hall at the Fred W. Smith National Library for the Study of George Washington, located at 3200 Mount Vernon Memorial Highway. The retreat sessions are scheduled to conclude by 6 p.m. The Board will then tour the Mount Vernon mansion and later attend a reception and dinner beginning at 7:15 p.m. at the Mount Vernon Inn Restaurant, located at 3200 Mount Vernon Memorial Highway.
On Friday, July 10, the meetings will begin at 8:45 a.m., and will be held in the APC Building Meeting Room in the Ann Pamela Cunningham Building, located at 3600 Mount Vernon Memorial Highway; they should conclude by 12:30 p.m.
All times are approximate, and the Board reserves the right to adjust its schedule as necessary. The meetings are open to the public, but there will be no opportunity for public comment.
