The College will remain open this evening and classes held. The Provost asks that faculty should use their best judgment on holding class and students use their best judgment in determining whether they feel comfortable traveling to the campus to attend.

The College will close this evening at 6:00 p.m. due to anticipated weather conditions. It will re-open at 12:00 noon tomorrow, Wednesday, January 22. The Provost has cancelled all classes and non-academic activities during the hours the College is closed.
The Commons, Sadler and Marketplace dining halls will maintain their normal hours of operation this evening. The Commons and Sadler will open during normal hours tomorrow while the Marketplace will not open until 12:00 p.m. The Rec Sports Center will be closed and all activities in the Sadler Center and Campus Center other than food service will be cancelled.
Due to the subfreezing temperatures forecast, all students and staff should exercise extreme care while walking and driving on campus; use hand rails wherever possible.
Essential personnel should report to work as directed by their supervisors.
The William & Mary Emergency Management Team will continue to monitor the storm. If additional updates are necessary, we will communicate those through the emergency notification system, local media and the College’s website.
