The College will be open tomorrow, Thursday, January 30, and classes will be held. As temperatures are projected to remain below freezing overnight, please continue to exercise care while walking and driving on or off campus; use hand rails wherever possible.

The basketball game between William & Mary and Delaware scheduled for tonight at 7:00 p.m. in the Kaplan Arena in William & Mary Hall will be played. Due to snow accumulation in the parking lots, the normal parking plan for men's basketball games will not be in effect for tonight's game. All other activities still remain cancelled.

The College of William & Mary will be closed today, Wednesday, January 29. The Provost has cancelled all classes and non-academic activities for the day and evening. The 12:15 p.m. emergency notification system test is cancelled. The Commons and Sadler dining halls will maintain normal hours of operation. Due to the subfreezing temperatures, all students and staff should exercise extreme care while walking and driving on campus; use hand rails whenever possible. Essential personnel should report to work as directed by their supervisors.

The College will close this evening at 6:00 p.m. due to anticipated weather conditions. It will re-open at 11:00 a.m. tomorrow, Wednesday, January 29. The Provost has cancelled all classes and non-academic activities during the hours the College is closed. Swem Library will also close.
The Commons, Sadler dining halls and the Student Exchange will maintain their normal hours of operation. The Marketplace and other food service venues will close this evening and will not open until 11:00 a.m. tomorrow. The Rec Sports Center will be closed and all activities in the Sadler Center and Campus Center other than food service will be cancelled.

The William & Mary Emergency Management Team will continue to monitor the storm. We will update you as changing conditions warrant using the emergency notification system, local media and the College’s website.
