Provost Michael Halleran sent the following message to William & Mary's faculty, staff and students. - Ed.
Tracy-Sharpley-Whiting, the fourth candidate in the search for Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences, will be visiting campus on February 6-7. A Public Forum has been scheduled for Monday, February 6 at 4:00 p.m. in Tidewater A of the Sadler Center.
Professor Sharpley-Whiting’s CV is available on the search web site: http://www.wm.edu/about/administration/provost/initiatives/asdeansearch/index.php In addition, the web site will have a link to a “candidate evaluation form.” I invite your comments, which will be accessible only by the search committee, the President and me. Please note that although the form requires a login with W&M, this is only to ensure that it is limited to members of the W&M community; the comments themselves are anonymous. The final deadline for evaluations is 5:00 p.m., Friday, February 17.
