St. Onge to serve as Reves Center's interim director
Dear Colleagues:
I am very pleased to announce that Ronald R. St. Onge, Professor Emeritus of Modern Languages and Literatures, has agreed to serve as the Interim Director of The Reves Center for International Studies, effective September 1, 2010. It is the College's good fortune that Ron is willing to serve in this important position for the coming year. Not only is Professor St. Onge an eminent scholar in Francophone literature and culture but he also brings to this position considerable administrative experience and judgment.
In addition to his service on multiple committees over his decades at William and Mary, Ron has also served twice as department chair of Modern Languages and Literatures. Until the effective date of his appointment, questions needing the attention of the Reves Center Director should be directed to Kate Slevin, Vice Provost for Academic Affairs at keslev@wm.edu; extension 1-2601.
Please join me in saluting Ron for his willingness to once again serve William & Mary. We both look forward to working with all of you to advance International Studies.
With best wishes,
Michael R. Halleran
Provost
