The following message was sent from Dean Carl Strikwerda to Arts & Sciences faculty and staff on Feb. 16. - Ed.
Dear Colleagues:
Recently in Arts & Sciences we have had occasion to celebrate several people who have contributed greatly to our success.
On December 18 we hosted a reception honoring Betty Sandy, who retired from the College with 37 years of service:

I thank Eric and Leisa and all of our faculty members for the tremendous amount of service which they contribute toward making the College of William and Mary the excellent institution it is.
Sincerely yours,
Carl Strikwerda
Dean of Arts & Sciences
