Reiss testifies before House Armed Services Committee
Mitchell Reiss, vice provost for international affairs, testified July 15, 2008 before a subcommittee of Congress's House Armed Services Committee.
Reiss, who served as the President's Special Envoy for the Northern Ireland Peace Process from 2003-2007 and as Director of the Office of Policy Planning for the U.S. Department of State from 2003-2005, addressed the committee on a "grand strategy" for U.S. foreign policy.
