Nichol tapped for George Wythe speakers' series
(Williamsburg, Va.) - Gene Nichol, president of the College of William & Mary, will address the George Wythe Society Nov. 7, 2007 at 1 p.m. at the William and Mary Law School, Room 120. This is the first in a series of lectures that will be hosted this year by the Society. This event is free and open to the public.
In the address, titled "The Challenge of Equal Justice," Nichol will
speak about his work involving civil rights and his journey through
higher education as a professor, administrator and president in context
of being a Citizen Lawyer.
The George Wythe Society sponsors educational programs and activities to promote awareness of William & Mary's unique history as the first to teach law in a university setting and its ties to colonial-era Williamsburg.
