Virginia Writing Centers Mapping Project
Connecting Writing Centers Across Virginia
The Virginia Writing Centers Mapping Project is a collaboration of the Southeastern Writing Center Association (Virginia Network), the William & Mary Center for Geospatial Analysis (CGA), and the W&M Writing and Communication Center (WCC).
This project has three goals:
- Locate Virginia writing centers using geospatial technology.
- Develop a visual representation of the impact of writing centers in Virginia.
- Create connections among writing centers in Virginia.
If you are a writing center professional in Virginia, we encourage you to add your center to the map. Simply fill out the Mapping Project Survey. The survey will take between 5-15 minutes to complete, depending on the amount of detail you wish to include. The information you provide in this survey will appear on a publicly available, interactive map. To see the map before you begin your survey, click here.
