Theatre and Dance Alumni
Homecoming
The Department hosts a Homecoming reception for our alumni each year. If you are not able to join us for Homecoming, please consider remembering your time at W&M with a donation that will support student learning in Theatre and Dance. Your contribution - on its own, or combined with the contributions of other friends of the department - will help us create the best possible environment for our students. Your support makes a difference!
This year's Homecoming will take place in the newly renovated Phi Beta Kappa Memorial Hall from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 19. Make sure to catch a performance of W&M Premiere Theatre's The Greenhouse, written by alum J. Harvey Stone '00.
Showtimes: October 18 @ 7:30 p.m., October 19 @ 2:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.

The Greenhouse Oral History Project
During the Homecoming performances, members of Professor Watkins’ “Southern LGBTQ+ Theatre Research” class will be collecting oral histories from alumni attending The Greenhouse to put into Special Collections and make available for future researchers. We welcome memories from any time in our shared William & Mary past and encourage any previous and current LGBTQ+ students to share a story about their time here. We know Homecoming weekend is busy, so a single story or a few minutes is all it takes. We will have student volunteers available before and after the show to assist in collecting your story.
If you will be unable to attend the show but would still like to contribute a story:
Call Professor Watkins’ on 757-221-3953 and leave a message with the story or instructions to call you back. Please also leave your email address because there is a form that needs to be signed so that your story can be put in Special Collections. You can also record a voice memo and email it to Dr. Watkins at jwatkins@wm.edu.
