Mattie Clear
Please join the Special Collections’ staff in congratulating Mattie Clear for being accepted into the Library of Congress’ 2017 Junior Fellows Summer Intern Program, a very competitive program that only a select few get to enjoy.
Mattie has been appointed to the Elizabeth Brown Pryor Internship in the Manuscripts Division. She will help patrons use the collections, answer reference questions, pull and re-shelve materials, and work on projects that will help researchers better access the collections, all tasks that she does for us.
A tremendous asset to the Special Collections Research Center, Mattie is one of our best and brightest student assistants, a team player, and one of the nicest, most helpful individuals anybody could work with.
She aspires to become a librarian/archivist and the experience she will gain working this summer at one of the finest libraries in the world will help her achieve that goal.
Congratulations Mattie. You deserve this honor.
