"During my time with the Congressional Research Service
(CRS), I worked closely with analysts in the Government and Finance Division to
produce two reports on the US Postal Service and one Congressional Distribution
memorandum concerning the administration of Federal Advisory Committees. I was
also afforded the opportunity to partake in many activities occurring on the
Hill including committee hearings, classes offered by the Library of Congress,
and briefings hosted by a variety of legislative offices. My time there helped
me to appreciate the complexity of Congress and to better understand how
innovative solutions to problems trickle through he system to reach the ears of
legislators."
