Professor Pamela Hunt Receives Cattell Award
The James McKeen Cattell Fund Fellowship was established in 1942 as a gift from James McKeen Cattell. Faculty of Psychology at colleges and universities in the United States as well as Canada are eligible and only three recipients are chosen each year.
The title of Professor Hunt's fellowship proposal is "Developing a Zebrafish (Danio rerio) Model of Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders." She will be visiting a lab at the University of Toronto-Mississauga to learn how to work with zebrafish and develop a collaboration with Dr. Robert Gerlai. In the spring she will establish a zebrafish colony in her own lab and begin to collect preliminary data with this new species.
