Alumni and Friends
Psychological Sciences is one of the most popular undergraduate majors, and each year about 150 students graduate with a degree in psychological science. We also award a half-dozen master's degrees. The College of William & Mary discontinued the Psy.D. program after academic year 2010/2011.
About half of our recent Psychological Sciences majors have gone on to study psychology, law, business, nursing, or another academic discipline at the master's or doctoral level. With their broad exposure to all areas of psychology, our alumni have a wide choice of careers.
If you are one of our alumni, we'd love to hear from you. We're setting up a Psychology Alumni Network: a way for our current students to talk to our alumni about their lives away from W&M. If you are interested in speaking with current students about career interests, internships, and other topics, please complete this short survey to provide your contact information and interests.
All of our alumni are invited to the department's annual Homecoming reception with faculty and current students. This is held in October on the same weekend as the College's Homecoming.
We also invite alumni and friends to check out our newsletter for current information about students, alumni, faculty, and departmental news. We hope you'll also send us your news to include on our alumni page. News items we receive are posted to our alumni updates web page.
