The Henry Krakauer Award
Established in Memory of Emeritus Professor of Physics Henry Krakauer.
This award is offered annually in recognition of an outstanding dissertation by a graduate student in physics.
Nominations for this award should include the following
- Letter from the advisor
- Student’s CV
- Digital copy of the final dissertation
- Digital copy of the defense presentation
- Any useful additional supporting materials.
Nominations should be considered during the dissertation defense committee and should be submitted to the Graduate Studies committee by August 1 at the end of each academic year. Dissertations completed in the 12 months prior to the August 1 deadline will be considered for the award.
