Not a Philosophy Major?
Students often take one or two Philosophy courses out of personal interest or to fulfill a university requirement and discover the classes to be engaging and enriching. The Department of Philosophy offers many courses that satisfy requirements in the COLL general education curriculum at William & Mary.
Many philosophy courses contain material that complements core themes in other programs of study. Students not majoring in philosophy often find that such courses contribute to their understanding of their primary programs of study. See the links at the left for more information.
