Jennifer Bosanko Memorial Scholarships

Annual Scholarships

The Jennifer Bosanko Memorial Scholarship Fund was established by family and friends in memory of Jennifer, who was a philosophy major at William & Mary and a member of the class of 2009. She was a person of many talents and passions: music, cooking, humor, business, a keen intellect and a skeptical approach to the world that made her thoughtful inJennifer Bosanko conversation and resilient in spirit. Jennifer passed away early in 2015, at the age of 27, from melanoma. Before her passing, she engaged in public education about the disease. The Bosanko Scholarships support students who, like Jen, demonstrate intellectual curiosity, industriousness, and a well-rounded approach to taking on the world.

Each academic year, the Department of Philosophy awards one scholarship of $2000 or two scholarships of $1000, to be applied toward educational expenses at W&M. The first recipients were chosen in Fall 2016.
