Background

Noah Lemos (Brown 1983) has taught at Virginia Tech, Texas, and DePauw University. He is the author of Intrinsic Value (Cambridge 1994), Common Sense (Cambridge 2004), and An Introduction to the Theory of Knowledge (Cambridge 2007; 2nd ed. 2020). He is also the author of "Ethics and Epistemology" in The Oxford Handbook of Epistemology (Oxford 2002) and "Moore and Skepticism" in The Oxford Handbook of Skepticism (Oxford 2008). His papers have been published in various journals, including Mind, The Journal of Philosophy, Philosophy and Phenomenological Research, Philosophical Studies, American Philosophical Quarterly, and Philosophical Issues. He is the co-editor of The Journal of Ethics.
